The University of Waikato, founded in 1964, celebrated it's 50th anniversary in 2014. As part of those celebrations the University Library put together this collection to highlight the diverse components – students, academics, the campus, buildings – that have shaped this unique University.
In 2001 R.B. (Bob) Grant retired from the position of Manager of the Facilities Management Division of the University of Waikato. At his retirement, Mr. Grant donated his collection of several hundred photographs to the University Library.
