Waikato University Campus Photos 1964 - 2014

The University of Waikato, founded in 1964, celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2014. As part of those celebrations the University Library put together this collection to highlight the diverse components – students, academics, the campus, buildings – that have shaped this unique University.

In 2001 R.B. (Bob) Grant retired from the position of Manager of the Facilities Management Division of the University of Waikato. At his retirement, Mr. Grant donated his collection of several hundred photographs to the University Library.

This collection has been added to using images from the University Image Archive. The Image Archive began as the Photo Library that was managed by the University Photographer and later Campus Photography.
